Our Story

Hardy Webster Dental has been serving the Humble area for generations. In 1985, Dr. King Hardy bought the dental office of Dr. Kates Burrows, which was located on First Street in the heart of “old” Humble. At the time, there were only a handful of dentists in the area, along with Dr. C A Younts. As Dr. Hardy's practice grew, he moved to a new location in 1994, where the practice is currently located.

Over the next 20 years, there were dramatic changes in the field of dentistry, including composite fillings, digital scanners, and dental implants. Changes in the business of dentistry also occurred with corporations entering the field, insurance reimbursements changing, and patient care sometimes taking a back seat to the bottom line. Despite these changes, Dr. Hardy maintained a practice that was at the cutting edge of technology while placing a strong emphasis on patient care. This commitment to patient care has led to continual growth, as patients refer their friends and family and often say the practice is their "dental home."

The practice continued to grow, and Dr. Kirk Webster joined the team in 2010. The office continued to expand, adding team members, and even building a new treatment room. In 2020, Dr. Ron Smith, who acquired the practice of Dr. Younts, retired from dentistry. Dr. Smith was looking for a private practice with a similar philosophy to take care of his patients, and Hardy Webster Dental welcomed them into the practice. In 2022, Dr. Jacquelyn Flores joined the team and continues to carry on the traditions established decades ago.

Many of the employees at Hardy Webster Dental have been part of the team for years, even decades. Five current team members have celebrated 20 plus years with the practice. Darlene Ward has been with the office the longest, working with Dr. Burrows starting in 1980. Patients want familiarity and consistency, and the team at Hardy Webster Dental strives to provide that comfort.
